Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series launched officially in India; Check out the specs and pricing details
In January, the South Korean tech giant Samsung introduced its Galaxy Book 6 series and this tablet series was also made available for purchase in select global markets. The company has now launched this series in the Indian market as well.
Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series: Features
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on the Intel 18A, the Galaxy Book 6 delivers efficient, high-speed CPU, GPU, and NPU performance for fast processing, seamless multitasking, and responsive AI. These processors feature up to 16 cores to offer over 60% faster CPU performance than previous generations.
The integrated NPU supports up to 50 TOPS for AI-driven tasks like image cleanup, instant translation and intelligent search. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Ultra feature an optimised vapour chamber with a larger surface area for uniform heat distribution.
Enhanced fins increase surface area to improve cooling efficiency by 35% compared to the previous generation. The Ultra model also boasts a dual-path outlet fan and heatsink to absorb and dissipate heat effectively. A re-engineered fan with an optimised angle, large inlet grill, and proprietary uneven blade spacing technology ensures quick heat release and minimal noise.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro offer up to 30 hours of video playback, while the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra offers super-fast charging, which can charge up to 63% in just 30 minutes. Both models feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen that offers up to 1000 nits of HDR peak brightness and 500 nits of SDR peak brightness.
Other display features include: Vision Booster, True Bright 1300 certification, True Black 0.0005 nits, adaptive 30Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro are equipped with optimised speaker placement for balanced sound and up-firing tweeters. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra features 6 speakers with Dolby Atmos, including force-cancelling woofers and two tweeters.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is just 15.4mm slim, while the Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16” measures 11.9mm. A centrally designed two-tone keyboard and haptic touch trackpad enhance comfort for hand placement.
Galaxy AI features include: AI Select, AI Cut Out, Natural language search, Note Assist, Strong Share, Link to Windows, Nearby Devices, Multi Control, and Second Screen. The series integrates Windows 11 and Microsoft’s AI-enhanced Copilot+PC experience. The series also boasts security features like Samsung Knox, Windows 11 Secure-Core PC, and Samsung Care+.
