Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Edge 5G – Now Available in the UK
The newly-introduced Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Edge 5G laptop (model – ‘NP755XRA-KA1UK’) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X 8-core processor that is clocked at up to 3.0 GHz, and it is integrated with the Adreno GPU. Additionally, the device also equips the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU that is capable of delivering up to 45 TOPS of advanced AI processing. In terms of its operating system, the Windows 11 Home runs on the device. Also to add, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB eUFS storage are coupled within it.
For its display, an IPS LCD display screen is given, with a screen size of 15.6″ and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display also offers its users an anti-glare experience too. A Pro keyboard with numeric key click-pad, stereo speakers (1.5W x 2 units), internal dual array digital microphone, 2MP camera, fingerprint reader, and the security slot are a few other key specs. A 61.2Wh battery (typical value) is also packed within the device (up to 27 hours of battery life), and it comes with a 65W USB-C charging adapter.
On the connectivity side, 5G Sub6, WiFi 7 (802.11 be, 2×2), and Bluetooth v5.4 are supported. Connectivity ports such as the HDMI 2.1 (supports 4K@60Hz), USB 3.2 (x1), USB 4.0 (x2), microSD multi-media card reader, and headphone out/mic-in combo are also given on the device. Software features like Galaxy Book Experience, Multi Control, Second Screen, Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, Quick Share, SmartThings, Quick Search, Screen Recorder, Live Wallpaper, Bixby, Samsung Flow, Samsung Studio, Phone, Galaxy Book Smart Switch, and Samsung Pass are also there, along with an ambient light sensor.
Dimension-wise, the device measures 356.6 x 229.8 x 15.5 mm in size (14.04″ x 9.05″ x 0.61″), and it weighs 1.66kg. It comes only in Sapphire Blue color, featuring a smooth finish that offers a sleek metallic lustrous classy look.
