Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Display Edition (2025) Specs and Pricing Revealed via Flipkart Microsite
We were the first to report on this after a Flipkart microsite appeared, showing that Huawei would soon launch a tablet in India after six long years. At that time, the branding wasn’t mentioned, but we speculated it to be the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2025). Well, the same is now officially confirmed via the flipkart’s microsite.
In 2019, Huawei was barred from accessing Google Mobile Services (GMS) due to a U.S. government policy. Therefore, the tablet will come with an AOSP-based version of global HarmonyOS. This means you won’t be able to use any Google apps on this device.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Display Edition will start at ₹27,999 (including offers) with the keyboard. Currently, the Flipkart banners only say “Coming Soon” and do not mention the date when it will be available.

Looking at the specs shared on Flipkart’s microsite, the tablet features a 2.5K PaperMatte display with a resolution of 2456 × 1600 and 200 nits of brightness. This “PaperMatte” technology is designed to minimise glare and provide a tactile, paper-like feel, which Huawei claims offers “natural light-like eye comfort” for long reading or viewing sessions. The microsite also emphasises the personalised note-taking experience via Huawei Notes and confirms support for a magnetic stylus (the M-Pencil).
Just like the one launched globally last year, this one also features a 10,100mAh battery, which can provide up to 14 hours of local 1080p video playback. Along with this, it also supports 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.
In terms of design and build, it features an all-metal unibody design and is only 6.1 mm thick. Further, under the performance section, it mentions that the tablet features an ultra-efficient cooling system and quad speakers.
