HTC officially unveils its first AI smart glasses- VIVE Eagle in Taiwan

HTC has made its entry into the smart glasses industry with the launch of its AI-powered VIVE Eagle smart glasses. This smart glass allows users to listen to music, ask questions to the AI assistant, capture photos and videos, and more.

The smart glass is available in four color options: Berry, Black, Brown, and Grey. It is available in Taiwan and is priced at NT$15,600. There is also a visual try-on option available via the official website.

The smart glass weighs less than 49g and features an adjustable nose pad that offers all-day comfort. It features an open-back design, large drivers, and a virtual subwoofer, while it also suppresses outbound volume, allowing you to hear clearly without worrying about being unheard. VIVE Eagle captures clear images in any environment, with AI-powered automatic level corrections and blur detection. To protect privacy, photo and video recording are automatically disabled when not being worn or when the LED is blocked.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1, features a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and offers 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. It can access Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT (currently in Beta). VIVE Eagle is equipped with a beamforming array microphone and dual stereo bass-boosted open speakers. It comes with an IP54 rating, supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The smart glass is compatible with iOS 17.6 or above and Android 10 or above.

You can seamlessly integrate it with your phone’s assistant. Enjoy up to 4.5 hours of continuous playback and over 36 hours of standby time while you charge the wearable up to 50% in just 10 minutes of charge.
Your information is protected by state-of-the-art encryption and anonymization technologies. It comes with a touch control feature, gives real-time traffic routes, tourist attraction information, and local food recommendations. It uses ZEISS sun lenses to effectively block UV rays.
