Sony has officially shared a teaser for their upcoming earbuds, though the official name is still unknown. In a post on X by Sony Electronics, the launch date is confirmed for February 12th, 2026, at 8 AM Pacific Standard Time.
The same post also includes a video glimpse of the upcoming earbuds. Recently, a retail listing in Thailand for the WF-1000XM6 revealed the design and color options. The earbuds feature four microphones in total, including two grills on the outer casing, which is an improvement over the previous WF-1000XM5 model. The design also boasts a matte finish, with Black and Silver color options.

While the listing didn’t disclose detailed specs, rumors suggest improved Active Noise Cancelling thanks to the extra microphone. The charging case has a rounded rectangular design. This design matches the teaser’s glimpse, confirming that the WF-1000XM6 is indeed the upcoming model.

The Thai retailer lists the earbuds at THB 11,990, which is roughly $378 USD. For now, we only have the teaser, but more details are expected soon.
