Google officially unveils Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a in India; Pixel Buds Pro 2 gets a new color variant

Google has officially introduced its Pixel 10 series in the Indian market, and along with that, the company has also introduced Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a in the country.

Specifications

There are two variants- 41mm and 45mm. The smartwatch features a first-of-its-kind domed Actua 360 display that’s physically curved to deliver a 10% larger active area and an edgeless appearance with 16% smaller bezels. The display offers 3000 nits of brightness. Material 3 Expressive brings the display to life, making it even more dynamic and personalized, with richer colors, eye-catching clock faces, and more glanceable UIs.

There is a new custom haptic engine that is said to be 15% stronger, and an upgraded custom speaker makes every interaction with Gemini feel even more delightful. The 41mm variant offers 30 hours of battery life, and the 45mm variant offers 40 hours of battery life. With battery saver mode, battery life can be extended to 2 (41mm) and 3 days (45mm). You can charge the wearable up to 50% in just 15 minutes with the help of the Quick Charge Dock.

It is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Wearable Platform and next-gen ML-powered co-processor that is said to be 25% faster at half the power. The smartwatch features durable custom Corning Gorilla Glass and an aerospace-grade aluminum housing, while it is water-resistant up to 50m. For the first time, Pixel Watch comes with a replaceable battery and display.

The smartwatch works with most phones running on Android 11 or newer. It runs on Wear OS 6.0, offers 32GB internal storage, and 2GB SDRAM. Sensors included- Red and infrared sensors for oxygen saturation monitoring, multipurpose electrical sensors, a multi-path optical heart rate sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, and an electrical sensor to measure skin conductance for body response tracking.

Pricing

The 41mm variant arrives in Iris, Lemongrass, Obsidian, and Porcelain color options, while the 45mm variant arrives in Obsidian, Moonstone, and Porcelain colors. It comes in a single WiFi option. The 41mm variant is priced at Rs 39,900, and the 45mm variant is priced at Rs 43,990.

Pixel Buds 2a

Specifications

The earbuds feature a custom-designed 11mm dynamic speaker driver. It is powered by a Tensor A1 chip that brings Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5 (ANC). With ANC on, Pixel Buds 2a provide 7 hours of listening on a single charge, extending to 20 hours total with the charging case. A 5-minute charge of earbuds in the charging case delivers up to 1 hour of listening time with ANC on.

The wearable is compatible with phones running Android 6.0 or newer. The earbuds come with an IP54 rating, and the case comes with an IPX4 rating. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 and super-wideband connectivity options. Each earbud includes wind-blocking mesh covers, dual mics, capacitive touch sensors, and an IR proximity sensor. The charging case includes a USB-C charging port.

Find Hub can pinpoint the precise location of your earbuds on a map, and when you get close, give them a ring to find them even faster, even if they’re in the case. It supports Fast Pair connectivity and Gemini voice assistant. Other features- transparency mode, spatial mode, hearing wellness, twist-to-adjust stabilizer, multipoint connectivity with device switching, and real-time translation. Each earbud measures 23.1×16.0x17.8mm and weighs 4.7g.

Pricing

It comes in Iris and Hazel color options. It is priced at Rs 12,999.

Apart from this, Google has also introduced a new color option for Pixel Buds Pro 2.

Pixel Buds Pro 2: New color variant

Pixel Buds Pro 2, which launched last year, is now available in a new color, Moonstone. The earbuds are available at Rs 19,900. The specs of this new color variant are similar to those of the previous variants. The company has also revealed that soon the earbuds will receive a new software update that includes new and improved features.
