DJI Osmo Action 6: Features
This action camera unites an innovative variable aperture (f/2.0-f/4.0) with an all-new 1/1.1-inch square sensor. It comes with 50GB built-in storage and offers 4-hour battery life. The camera offers aperture modes that suit a wide range of scenarios. It is said to excel in low light, delivering noticeably enhanced image quality. You can pair this camera with the Macro Lens to capture stunning close-ups, while with the FOV Boost Lens, you can capture edge-to-edge POV shots.
In Auto Mode, you can choose multiple aperture ranges that suit your needs to achieve clear and balanced results. The Starbust Mode turns city lights into captivating starbursts. The action camera supports up to 4K/120fps recording in 4:3, maintaining clear detail in both low light and high-contrast scenes. It also debuts the 4K Custom mode that allows you to shoot first and crop later. The SuperNight mode captures pure, detailed video of up to 4K/60fps in challenging low-light conditions.
The 10-bit D-Log M preserves highlight and shadow detail for greater flexibility in post-production. Osmo Action 6 also provides an on-screen D-Log M preview. It generates up to 32x Super Slow motion at 1080p for smoother, more detailed visuals. The camera is waterproof up to 20 meters.
Users can shoot with this camera while diving, skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling, mountain biking, road cycling, and hiking. You can directly connect two DJI microphone transmitters for dual high-quality audio capture without a receiver. A built-in three-mic array captures rich stereo sound. The action camera is compatible with the DJI Mimo app.
Other features include cold resistance, high-speed transfer, battery fast charging, WiFi livestreaming, dual direction quick release system, OLED displays, WiFi 6, built-in pressure gauge, and intelligent gesture and voice control.
DJI Osmo Action 6: Availability
DJI Osmo Action 6 can be purchased via the DJI Store and Amazon UK. There are two options available- Standard Combo priced at £329 that includes the camera, Osmo Action Extreme battery plus (1,950 mAh), Osmo Dual-Direction quick-release adapter mount, Osmo Action Curved Adhesive base, Osmo locking screw, USB-C to USB-C PD cable, and Osmo Action Anti-Slip pad.
The Adventure combo is priced at £415, which includes everything in the Standard combo plus two additional Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus, one additional Osmo Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount, one additional Osmo Locking Screw, Osmo Multifunctional Battery Case 3, and Osmo 1.5m Extension Rod.
