DJI Osmo 360 Launched Globally and in India with 8K 30fps and 120MP Capture Support, Starting at ₹44,990

DJI has launched its first 360-degree action camera, the Osmo 360, in global and Indian markets. The camera supports 8K video recording at 30fps and panoramic photo capture at 120MP.

Specs and Features

The Osmo 360 features a compact body, measuring 61×36.3×81 mm, and weighs 183 grams. It carries an IP68 rating, allowing underwater use up to 10 metres without additional housing. The device includes a 2.0-inch touchscreen with a 314×556 resolution and 800 nits brightness.

It is powered by a 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensor with 2.4μm pixels and an f/1.9 aperture. It supports panoramic photo capture at 120MP (15520×7760) and single-lens stills at 30.72MP (6400×4800). Video options include panoramic recording at up to 8K at 30fps, 6K at 60fps, and 4K at 100fps. In selfie mode, it records up to 4K at 60fps or 2K at 240fps. Single-lens recording supports up to 5K at 60fps and 4K ultra-wide at 120fps.

The camera supports RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady for video stabilisation. It can pre-record up to 5 minutes and supports OSV and MP4 (HEVC) video formats, with 10-bit colour and D-Log M compatibility. A minimum stitching distance of 75 cm ensures seamless 360° visuals.

Audio is recorded via four microphones with wind noise reduction and spatial capture. Bluetooth 5.1 headsets and DJI Mic transmitters are supported for wireless audio input. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB 3.1. Users can overlay cycling or fitness data from devices like Apple Watch or Garmin using FIT files.

The Osmo 360 includes 128GB of internal storage (105GB usable), expandable via microSD cards up to 1TB. It uses a 1950mAh battery, offering up to 100 minutes of 8K/30fps recording or 190 minutes at 6K/24fps in endurance mode. Fast charging delivers a 50% charge in 12 minutes. Additional features include gesture and voice control, a SnapShot button for instant recording, operation in temperatures down to -20°C, and accessory compatibility via quick-release and magnetic mounts.

Editing is supported through the DJI Mimo and DJI Studio apps, along with Adobe Premiere Pro integration via plugins.
