Amazon Leo Ultra – Officially Introduced

The newly-introduced Amazon Leo Ultra has been brought out as an advanced enterprise-grade terminal and this full-duplex phased array antenna is capable of delivering up to 1 Gbps download speed and 400 Mbps upload speed. Thus, this latest device is claimed to be the fastest phased array antenna that is currently in production. In terms of design, the Amazon Leo Ultra is engineered to be durable, and it has a weather-resistant design that will be able to withstand strong winds, precipitation, and high as well as low temperature. Additionally, the sleek and integrated design ensures easy installation and transport across wide locations too.

Speaking more, a custom silicon chip powers the Amazon Leo Ultra, and it also equips proprietary radio frequency (RF) design and signal processing algorithms. Advanced networking capabilities which include seamless integration onto the existing enterprise network infrastructure and simultaneous uploading + downloading capability are its further notable aspects. Enterprise-grade features such as easy-to-use network management tools, advanced encryption across the network, and 24 x 7 customer support are also being offered. Furthermore, features like real-time data processing, secure communications for teams, remote operations management, Amazon Web Services (AWS) connectivity, and more are also there.

As part of the early adoption support, an enterprise preview has been announced by Amazon Leo for select business customers. This initiative aims to collect user feedback and also to address any unknown issues prior to the actual roll-out. Units of Amazon Leo Pro and Amazon Leo Ultra are currently being shipped to the selected companies, and more will be added depending on the coverage and capacity expansion. Just to add, as of now, Amazon Leo has over 150 active satellites in orbit.
