Alibaba’s New Self-Developed Flagship AI Glasses – Launching Today

Today on the 26th of July 2025, Alibaba will be launching its self-developed flagship AI glasses for its Chinese customers at the Shanghai World Expo Center, during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference event (scheduled from 2:30 PM ~ 5:30 PM). Also to add, the brand will be participating in the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence, and will have its booth at the World Expo Exhibition Hall (Hall 1 – Alibaba Booth).

As per what has been reported, this latest Alibaba AI glasses will equip all the basic features such as voice assistant, music playback, phone calls, and real-time translation. In addition to these, Alibaba services like maps, payments, and shopping will also be integrated onto it. Moreover, reports also claim that AutoNavi, Alipay, and Taobao together worked in its development process. The Tongyi Qianwen is said to be its base AI model, with Quark providing the training for health and learning, and two versions are expected to be made available: AI smart glasses without display and AI + AR smart glasses with display. A dual chip architecture featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 and Hengxuan BES2800 chipsets is also a part of the device.
