Apple’s ‘Special Experience’ Event Scheduled for March 4th

Apple has reportedly announced its first event of 2026, called the “Special Experience event.” It will take place on March 4th at 9 AM EST as an in-person event across New York (9 AM EST), London (2 PM GMT), and Shanghai (10 PM CST). However, Apple has not shared specific details about the products it will launch at the event, nor has it provided any information about a livestream of the event.

However, the iPhone 17e and the 12th-Gen iPad (2026) are two of the devices likely to be launched at the event. According to previous reports, the iPhone 17e is expected to feature several upgrades compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 16e. These include the A19 chip, an 18MP front-facing camera, and a 6.1-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and the iconic Dynamic Island.

Other rumoured specifications for the iPhone 17e include the Apple C1X modem, MagSafe charging support, a 4000 mAh battery, and colour options in black, white, and possibly lavender. The starting price is expected to be $599.

While the iPad 12th-Gen (2026) is expected to come with the same chassis as that of the iPad 11th-Gen A16 (2025). However, the main upgrade will be the chipset, as it is rumoured to feature the A18 chip, which is a significant improvement over the A16 chip used in its predecessor, the iPad 11th-Gen (2025).

Along with all this, Apple is also rumoured to launch a new MacBook Air with an M5 chip, a MacBook Pro equipped with M5 and M5 Max chips, new Mac displays, and a refreshed iPad with an M4 chip.
