TATA IPL Mega Auction 2022: Dinesh Karthik was bought for 5 Crores 50 Lakhs by Royal Challengers Bangalore

Dinesh Karthik was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 5 Crores 50 Lakhs. As the 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup will be held later this year, Karthik will be hoping to make a strong claim for a return to the T20I side with strong performances in the forthcoming IPL 2022 edition, due to be held in India in the coming months.

Dinesh Karthik’s international career has been a rollercoaster ride. Despite not being a regular in the India setup for a long time, Karthik has always been able to reinvent himself and make a comeback in the national setup at regular intervals.

Karthik has represented teams including Delhi Capitals (DC), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Gujarat Lions (GL), and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He won the 2013 IPL with MI.
