Is Manchester United interested in Cristiano Ronaldo?
After an unsuccessful season for the Red Devils, reports were to have linked Ronaldo with an exit from Old Trafford. However, during the latest reports, it is believed that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to remain with Manchester United under Erik ten Hag. The Portuguese is expected to stay and will be part of the pre-season training at the beginning of July.
Earlier on some reports, claimed that CR7 wants to leave as for the fear of new boss Erik ten Hag and his supervision, also the former Juventus player is said to be frustrated with the club’s transfer window so far.
After his arrival back from his summer holidays he is expected to join the squad for the pre-season training. Although, the arrival will be a bit extended due to his involvement with Portugal in their three opening Nations League fixtures in June.
Boss ten Hag has also confirmed during his introductory press conference at United that Ronaldo is part of his plans for the new season, and also mentioned he would contribute “goals” to his side.
Ronaldo’s Portuguese teammate Bruno Fernandes says, “I don’t think Man United are open to lose a top resource like Cristiano”.
