Bitton leaves Celtic in tears and ends his love affair with the club

Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton was in tears as he bid an emotional farewell to the Celtic club. The club announced that Bitton and his Israeli teammate Tom Rogic will end their respective journeys after the Premiership finale at home against Motherwall.

Nir Bitton also gave an emotional interview to Celtic TV as the Israeli captain reflected his journey in the east end of Glasgow. Bitton made his debut for Celtic against AC Milan in the 2013 UCL group stages.

“It’s been a hell of a journey for me, with lots of ups and downs. I’ve made so many memories”, Bitton told Celtic TV. In his stint with Celtic he has scored 10 goals in 176 games.

He also occasionally captains the Celtic team.
