Russia Ukraine Crisis: Putin is Happy With PM Modi stance in the UN

President Putin is happy with India’s stance in the UN over the Russia Ukraine crisis. Putin said that India’s stand is balanced and welcomed the statement made by the Indian mission at the united nations security council.

India made the statement that the west should not formulate NATO members near the Russian border. Russia treats this as a move that will jeopardize their security and will give NATO more upper hand on Russia than ever. That is why Russia’s stand on Ukraine can be understood as a defense measure, not as an agrresion.

The Russian embassy in India lauded the move made by India in the UN security council. Russia has always been seen as a friend in India as when India needed help they were there.

The Indian representative at the UN had asked for quiet diplomacy to end this crisis. India without taking the name of Russia stated that legitimate security concerns should be addressed.
