The Mumbai bullet train project is pacing off with the efforts of the Government. Today the Government of India also invited bids for the design and construction of the Mumbai Underground station. These bids are also meant for the construction of tunnels for the bullet train project.
National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited published a tender today inviting bids. The Tender reference no is MAHSR-C-1 and the tender ID is 2022_NHSRC_123227_1.
The Work Title of the tender reads as, “Design and Const. of Civil and Buildings Works on Design-Build Lump Sum Price basis for Double Line High Speed Railway for Mumbai Underground Station, Cut and Cover Tunnel and Shaft-1 from MAHSR Km. -0.255 to Km. 0.775 at BKC in Maharashtra.
The Pre Bid meeting date is 22 August 2022 at 11:00 am and the mode of Pre Bid Meeting Address is online. The submission for bid would start on 13 October 2022 and would end on 20 October 2022. Documents download/sale starts from 22 July 2022 and would end on 20 October 2022. The bid opening date is 21 October 2022. NDA/Prequalification Closing date is 18 October 2022 and approval end date is 19 October 2022.
The bullet train project is a dream project of PM Modi and the first bullet train would run from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.
