BSF airdrops ‘creek crocodile commandos’ to search Pakistani fishermen hiding inside Indian territory in Gujarat

According to ANI, BSF airdrops ‘creek crocodile commandos’ to search Pakistani fishermen hiding inside Indian territory in Gujarat.

The Border Security Force (BSF) began a large search operation in the Harami Nala area of the India-Pakistan border on Thursday, deploying its specialized ‘Creek Crocodile Comandos’ squad. Three more Pakistani boats were seized on Thursday as part of the search operation that began on Wednesday afternoon in the Harami Nalla area of Bhuj, Gujarat, where eight Pakistani boats were taken. During BSF drone monitoring of the area, the Pakistani boats were observed. According to a senior BSF officer, the operation has been ongoing for more than 30 hours. “There is no way Pakistani fisherman will be able to flee the area,” the officer continued.

“Our ‘Creek Crocodile Comandos’ were dispatched from an Indian Air Force helicopter to seek for hidden fishermen in Bhuj’s creek area. The commandos are members of a BSF specialised force that patrols and conducts operations in the Rann of Kutch’s creek areas “added the official.
He went on to say that eight Pakistani boats were detected during normal overhead monitoring of the Harami Nala area by drone on Wednesday afternoon. Intruders detected the danger and leaped from their boats, prompting a squad to send through swift attack craft to apprehend suspected suspects. “They’re still hiding in the region since BSE has been keeping a close eye on the entire area since then,” he explained.
