An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 on the Richter scale happened in Nepal, Shocks were felt in India also

An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 on the Richter scale occurred 147 km east-southeast of Kathmandu, Nepal at 0758 hours: National Center for Seismology.

Around 8 am this morning, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, and Bhagalpur in Bihar also experienced earthquake tremors. The National Center for Seismology reports that at around 7:58 am, earthquakes were also detected in Kathmandu, Nepal.

A 4.7-magnitude earthquake that struck central Nepal on Monday a few days ago jolted many people out of their sleep and forced them to leave their homes.

The 4.7-magnitude earthquake, with an epicentre 100 miles east of Kathmandu in the Sindhupalchowk district, happened at 6.07 am, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
