Will “What We Do in the Shadows” be back for its fifth and sixth season?

The famous mockumentary show, “What We Do in the Shadows” is all set to return with its fifth and sixth season at FX.

According to the president of original programming for FX Entertainment, there’s a lot of life left in the vampires from Staten Island, and FX could not be more excited to come up with two additional seasons of the phenomenal series.

Season 4’s first two episodes were launched on 12 July 2022.

The series is based on the film of the same name by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, who both serve as executive producers on the show. The TV version follows vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), Variety reports.

The world of What We Do in the Shadows unfolds as the vampires have left their home in Staten Island and explore other fanciful locations. They even run into other magical beings, like uncanny Valkyries and foul-mouthed fae.

The show has proven its popularity amongst audiences and critics alike. Its first two seasons got them 10 Emmy Award nominations, including one for best comedy series.
