Where to watch Euphoria season 3? Here is the complete information
We for one haven’t been able to control the waterworks since Euphoria season two came to a delicious and terrible finish earlier this year.
Fans of the show tuned in to witness the eight-part season finale on February 28, 2022.
HBO was gracious enough to inform us beforehand that season 3 of the show has been confirmed, which has helped to ease the difficult mourning process.
On February 4, the Euphoria Instagram account posted a brief clip on the platform to reveal that Jules, Maddy, Nate, Cassie, and the company’s story would continue after season two. The channel captioned the video, stating that “#EUPHORIA has been renewed for season 3.”
In an official statement, Francesca Orsi, Vice President of HBO programming, added: ‘Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken season two to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart.
‘We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into season three.’
Barbie Ferreira, a well-liked cast member, regretfully won’t be returning in the upcoming season. The 25-year-old made her exit from the show official with an emotional Instagram Story post.
Here is all the information you require about Euphoria season 3:
Firstly, you should keep an eye out for updates on the release dates of the show on the various streaming services since Euphoria is available on Now and Sky Atlantic in the UK as well as HBO in the US.
Second, it’s important to keep in mind that Covid-19 delayed the release of Euphoria season two, so if everything goes according to plan this year, we may see season three as early as 2023.
Behind Game of Thrones, Euphoria is the channel’s 2nd most watched series since 2004, according to HBO. The first episode of Euphoria season two has received close to 19 million views in the US as of February 28. Each episode of the second series averaged 16.3 million viewers.
Additionally, according to sources, Euphoria has received 34 million tweets, making it the most tweeted-about show in the US.
At the 72nd Emmy Awards in 2021, Zendaya received the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work in Euphoria, and she responded in what might be the best way ever.
You’ll be pleased to learn that Zendaya is anticipated to reprise her role as Rue Bennett in addition to co-starring with Euphoria regulars Hunter Schafer (Jules), Jacob Elordi (Nate), Alexa Demie (Maddy), Algee Smith (Chris), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie), Maude Apatow (Lexi), and Dominic Fike (Elliot).
Ferreira, who plays Kat, made the disappointing announcement that she wouldn’t be returning for the third season of the show on August 24, much to the dismay of her fans.
The model and actor, who has been performing on the show for 4 years, commented on her Instagram story:
‘After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character kat, I’m having to say a very teary eyed goodbye [sic].’
She included ‘fan art’ of her character created by co-star Schafer with her greeting.
She added: ‘I hope many of you could see yourself in her like i did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today. I put all my care and love into her and i hope you guys could feel it. Love you katherine hernandez [sic].’
It is unknown if the actor’s character will be eliminated from the program or if another performer will step in to play her in season three.
Ferreira addressed the reason why her character wasn’t given as much screen time in season two during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in April.
‘There’s a huge cast,’ she told the outlet at the time. ‘So, we’ll see everyone. Everyone gets their time.’
She also addressed reports of conflict between her and Levinson on the show’s set before the premiere of season two. According to The Daily Beast, there have been rumors of the two “butting heads,” and a February 2022 cover story with The Cut included Ferreira and Levinson “arguing.”
However, the actor claims that reports of issues have been overstated. The fact that there are so many more eyes on this season makes it fascinating to watch even the news cycle, she told insiders. I’ve seen a lot of different things, most of which are untrue, and some of which are just small, insignificant things.
‘Sometimes, things take on a life of their own, and they’re not rooted in the truth, but it’s OK because I know it’s just out of passion and out of curiosity and all that good stuff. And I signed up for it. So, I’ll take it. I’ll take the good and the bad.’
Where to Watch?
We can assume that viewers will be able to watch Season 3 on HBO, just like the first two seasons.
