Sidhu Moosewala Murder : Lawrence Bishnoi has said that Punjab Police can kill him in an encounter

Lawrence Bishnoi, the leader of a gang that has claimed responsibility for the assassination of Punjabi artist and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala, filed a petition in Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Monday to prevent the Punjab Police from detaining him.

Bishnoi claimed in his appeal that he should not be turned over to the Punjab Police because he feared being killed in a “encounter.”

His request, however, was turned down by the court.

Bishnoi is currently serving time in Delhi’s Tihar Jail for an organised criminal case under the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act).

Meanwhile, sources told news agency ANI that Punjab Police has already contacted top Delhi Police officers to inquire about members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, as well as Kala Jathedi and Kala Rana, who is presently incarcerated.

According to sources, Punjab Police can also detain and question members of the Bishnoi gang in connection with the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

According to ANI sources, Moose Wala’s assassination plot was hatched in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, as a phone number linked to the singer’s death has been traced back to the facility.

The murder of Moose Wala could be linked to the assassination of Vikramjit alias Vicky Middukhera last year, Delhi Police claimed earlier today.

The names of Moose Wala and his manager, Shaganpreet, have been linked to the murder of Vicky in August last year, according to the Delhi police special cell.

The link between known gangsters Neeraj Bawania and Tillu Tajpuria was recently discovered by the Special Cell of Delhi Police. Bawania and Tajpuria have linked up with many criminals from Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, including Kaushal Chaudhary, Davinder Bhambia, and Lucky Patial.

In connection with Vicky’s murder, Delhi Police apprehended roughly a dozen miscreants from this five-member gang. Sharpshooter Sajjan Singh alias Bholu, Anil Kumar alias Lath, and Ajay Kumar alias Sunny Kaushal were apprehended. The arrested trio had discussed Moose Wala and his manager’s possible role in the Vicky murder case during interrogation. The management of Moose Wala was identified as a defendant in the FIR filed in this case.

According to sources, Vicky was a close friend of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been spending time in a Rajasthan jail since 2017 for several offences.

Bishnoi’s aide thug Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for the murder of singer Moose Wala in a statement on his alleged Facebook page.
