Satyameva Jayate 2 Box Office: John Abraham’s starring has a sluggish start; Sooryavanshi provides stiff rivalry

With the second installment of his smash film Satyameva Jayate, John Abraham comes back with a bang. This time, we’ll witness not one, but three Johns on the big screen. The picture has already generated a lot of buzzes, and all eyes were on it because it was going up against Salman Khan’s Antim: The Final Truth at the box office. However, the John starring was released a day before Antrim, which according to the film’s director was a positive thing. So, how has it benefited the box office collections?

Satyameva Jayate 2 had a modest start in the 15-20% area, according to Box Office India, however collections at single screens in places like CP Berar, Bihar, and Nizam / Andhra were better. The issue is the drab start time across multiplexes across India. Sooryavanshi, on the other hand, is still doing well at the box office. It was assumed that the larger national theatre chains would not do much with this type of film because ticket prices are greater than in pre-pandemic days. However, in locations like Bihar, it is expected that the collection may exceed Rs 20 lakh. Even so, it would reportedly be less than Sooryavanshi’s collection.

The North and West regions appear to be the key contributors to the business, and they are off to a bad start. Sooryavanshi is giving Satyameva Jayate 2 a run for its money in the morning shows in Gujarat and Saurashtra, but perhaps Satyameva Jayate 2 will emerge victorious by the evening.

Many people are claimed to be ignorant of Satyameva Jayate 2 because it was launched on a Thursday, resulting in a slow start.
