Love is Blind Season 3 expected release date, plot and format

Prepare to say “I do” since the third season of Netflix’s Love Is Blind has already finished production and will air before the end of 2022. Love Is Blind is one of the best Netflix shows and one of the zaniest dating shows on television because of its innovative concept.

Couples go on dates through audio-connected pods without really seeing one another. They can only meet in person if they become engaged. Then they move in together, take a honeymoon, and get to know each other’s families and friends before moving in together. Finally, on their wedding day, each couple must choose whether to say “I do” or “I don’t.”

In the pods, six couples became engaged over seasons 1 and 2, but only two were wed in the season 2 finale. After the Altar special made it apparent that Amber and Barnett and Lauren and Cameron were still together after exchanging vows in the first season. In the Love Is Blind season 2 reunion, it is shown that Iyanna and Jarrette, and Danielle are still dating. An After the Altar special will be accessible on Netflix later this year.

After a two-year wait, season 2 didn’t disappoint the audience. Tea was spilled a lot, and there was a lot of drama. For several weeks, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, and other social media platforms were the place to be. Additionally, there is already high demand.

Here is everything we currently know about Love Is Blind’s third season.

The release date of Love is Blind Season 3

Although Netflix hasn’t provided a release date for Love Is Blind season 3, we may presume it will happen soon.

In March 2020, the streamer ordered the third season along with the second season. But the outbreak put a wrench in the plan. Filming for Season 2 didn’t begin until the following spring in 2021.

The third season of Love Is Blind has already started filming, which is fantastic. We shot season 3 already, co-host Vanessa Lacey said to E! News in September of last year. The show’s creator, Chris Coelen, confirmed this to Metro UK (opens in new tab).

Season 3’s debut was just been confirmed by Netflix.

Location, cast speculation, and format of Love Is Blind season 3

The first season of Love Is Blind was filmed in Atlanta using locals. Despite the fact that the pod section was shot in California, Season 2 featured music from Chicago.

According to Netflix, the season 3 cast will be made up of Dallas citizens. This substantial city has a rather diverse population. Some people were offended by the lack of variety in the races and body types of the Season 2 cast.

Love Is Blind’s first two seasons all followed the same pattern, however, the third season might bring about some changes.

Each season stands apart from the others totally; for instance, Season 3 has a very different character than either Season 1 or Season 2. The structure has so far involved 15 men and 15 women, but they are kept apart. They participate in blind speed dating inside the pods. As they flirt and get to know one another, they gradually reduce their options. If one makes a suggestion and the other accepts, they can arrange to meet in person.

Engaged couples journey to a charming beach resort for their honeymoon. While maintaining their commitment to growing their relationships, they continue to interact with other couples. After their honeymoon, the newlyweds relocate to a furnished apartment in their hometown.

They continue to go about their everyday lives, going to work, socializing, and meeting their new significant others’ families. The night before the wedding, the men host the bachelor party, while the women host the bachelorette party.

When every couple arrives at the altar on the wedding day, they are requested to make the declaration “I do” or “I don’t.” They can get married if both parties agree. If either party replies “I don’t,” they can end the relationship or resume regular dating.

The finale is followed by a reunion episode. More than a year following the reunion, the After the Altar special from Season 1 was released (two years after the couples first met).
