Kanye West Removes Instagram Posts After Virgil Abloh’s Death
Kanye West is mourning the death of his close friend Virgil Abloh, and it appears that he has erased all of his Instagram posts in reaction.
Ye’s Instagram page went dark on Monday, less than 24 hours after it was revealed that the Louis Vuitton mastermind had died following a private cancer struggle. Kanye has remained silent since the news surfaced, but the two had a close bond, so you can imagine how upset he is.
Celebrity accolades flooded in from celebrities, sports, and a diverse range of others who had either directly met with Virgil or were inspired by his work.
Kanye and Virgil had had disagreements over the years, with Kanye being disappointed that Virgil had taken the Louis job, but they worked things out in 2018 at an LV fashion show.

The two hugged and sobbed, and everything seemed to be well after that.
Kanye West’s “DONDA” listening event in Chicago was one of, if not the last, times the two saw each other.
While Virgil’s cancer struggle was kept a secret from the public, those closest to him, including Kanye, knew he had been sick for a long time.
Virgil was only 41 years old when he died.
