In Season 4 of Golden Kamuy, Tomokazu Seki plays Fusataro Osawa
Golden Kamuy Season 4 has added legendary voice actor Tomokazu Seki to the roster as Fusataro Osawa. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October and it would be animated by Brain’s Base, which will replace Geno Studio.
Tomokazu Seki has voiced several well-known characters in anime, including Rob Lucci from One Piece, Shinya Kogami from Psycho-Pass, Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket, and many more. In addition to his work in anime, he has also provided voices for several video games, tokusatsu shows, and non-Japanese live-action movies.
Shizutaka Sugahara will serve as the show’s executive producer for Season 4 of Golden Kamuy, and Takumi Yamakawa will create the roles. Noboru Takagi is coming back to work on the scripts in the meantime. Golden Kamuy’s season 1 and 2 lasted from April to December 2018 and its third season lasted from October to December 2020. The animation is inspired by the Satoru Noda manga series. From August 2014 to April 2022, it was featured in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump. A live-action film adaptation was revealed after the manga series concluded.
The manga, which Viz Media has licensed in English, contains the following synopsis:
Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the Russo-Japanese War, explores the Japanese frontier of Hokkaido in the early 20th century in pursuit of a secret gold mine. Saichi is forced to contend with every violent cutthroat, robber, and outlaw who knows about the riches with just a mysterious map and an indigenous Ainu girl by his side.
