Here is the complete story on Manifest season 4
Manifest, the popular American supernatural drama Television series by Jeff Rake is all set to make a comeback with its 4th season. NBC cancelled the show in 2021 after the first 3 seasons. The popular TV series will make a comeback on Netflix with the 4th season.
The Manifest series was added to Netflix after NBC cancelled it in 2021. Soon after, the series took off with large-scale viewership and topped the charts. Netflix will thus renew the series with a fourth and final season comprising of twenty episodes.
The preview for the final season was first aired in the month of September 2021. It was updated for the audience in July 2022. It is also likely that Season 4 will be released in two parts.
The world of critics, audiences and fans of the Manifest series are looking over the possibilities of a release date in September 2022. However, it is also possible that it might be released around October or November, as this gives the creators to get the word out to the world on a much larger scale. As of now, nothing has been completely confirmed.
Earlier in the month of May, the creator of Manifest, Jeff Rake, replied to a Tweet on the question of when Season 4 is coming back that he is hearing November.
What to expect in Manifest Season 4?
To attain a satisfying finish, creator Rake will have to condense his three planned seasons’ worth of plot into 20 episodes, separated between Part One and Part Two in the manner of Lucifer. He stated: “The endgame won’t change at all… in my interview with EW. Twenty episodes will give me more than enough time to deliver the complete story as I originally wanted, I am certain of that.
According to Deadline, the following is Netflix’s official season synopsis: “After a tumultuous but usual trip, the crew and passengers were relieved when Montego Air Flight 828 safely arrived. However, in just those few hours, the world had aged by five years, and after grieving their loss, their friends, families, and coworkers had given up and gone on.
They’re all granted another shot now that they’re up against an impossibility. In this emotionally rich, surprising voyage into a world founded in hope, heart, and destiny, some of the returned passengers quickly discover they may be meant for something more than they ever imagined possible as their new realities become obvious.
Which…tells us very little that fans don’t already know. But Josh Dallas, who plays Ben, shared in an interview with Netflix Life that there will be a time jump of two years. “We begin the next season two years from where we left off season 3. So we’ve moved ahead in time,” said Dallas. He added: “Sometimes I think—and of course, I haven’t gotten to the end—that he could be the agent of the apocalypse, the downfall of all of this because of the way he is so tenacious…The first part of the season is not going to be easy.” He also wrote about Ben on Twitter: “To be honest… he’s not in a great place,” and tweeted an on-set photo of a funeral, with the caption: “Brace yourselves.” Which, given what happened to Ben at the end of season three…are we surprised?
