He also depicted the role of Mogambo in Shekhar Kapur’s 1987 Hindi film Mr. India, but to Western viewers, he is best remembered for his portrayal as Mola Ram in Steven Spielberg’s Hollywood production Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984).
