‘Boston Strangler’ trailer out and set to release on 17 March 2023 here are the details

A new trailer for Boston Strangler is out, and it promises to be a compelling watch. Boston Strangler is an upcoming crime drama which is based on true events and is directed by Matt Ruskin. It will launch on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK on 17 March 2023.

Starring Keira Knightley and Carrie Coon, the film also stars Carrie Coon, Alessandro Nivola, Chris Cooper, David Dastmalchian and more.

Based on actual events and the murderer of the same name, Boston Strangler sees Keira Knightley portray the life of Loretta McLaughlin, the real-life reporter who broke the story of the Strangler. Loretta McLaughlin was the first to recognize that there was a connection between a series of murders which eventually leads her towards a serial killer who would become known as the infamous Boston Strangler

Keira Knightley is going back in time once again (previously with Pride and Prejudice) — and this time to a particularly terrifying slice of a historical true story set in 1960s Boston, when the Boston Strangler was on the prowl.

The Boston Strangler killed a total of at least 11 women between 1962 and 1964, per Biography. Eventually, a man named Albert DeSalvo confessed to the murders while already in prison, though he was not charged for the case and was found dead in his cell in 1973. In 2013, per New Scientist, DNA evidence finally proved that he was the killer.

If you are a true crime fan, the movie is just the right fit for you. Not sure? Go ahead and watch the trailer immediately.
