Salman Khan is not receiving ₹1000 crore of BB16 but even less than the previous season

The controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’ has been making headlines since it first aired. Furthermore, the fee for this season’s host, Salman Khan, has been a hot topic of discussion. While it was previously reported that Khan would charge Rs. 1000 crore for the show, new reports claim that the actor will be paid less than he did last season. Yes, you read that correctly! According to the latest rumors, the Dabangg actor will be paid less for the sixteenth season.

According to Midday, Bigg Boss OTT will not return for a second season because sponsors did not receive the expected revenue from the first season, which was hosted by Karan Johar. Following this, Salman will receive a pay cut rather than a fee increase. According to the report, Khan received Rs 350 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 15 and, if the latest reports are correct, he will receive less for BB16. However, there has been no official confirmation of Salman’s salary for the upcoming season.

According to a previous report in Financial Express, Salman requested a pay increase this year that was three times the amount he received for Bigg Boss 15, and the producers agreed. Meanwhile, the first promo for Bigg Boss 16 has been released, with Salman teasing fans that for the first time in 15 years, Bigg Boss will show his game.

Bigg Boss 16 is set to premiere on Colors TV on October 1st at 9.30 PM.
