American Rapper Lil Keed dies at 24 in a car accident
According to his reps and family members, rapper Lil Keed, a rising artist from Atlanta and a member of Young Thug’s notorious YSL label, has died.
“Can’t believe I saw u die today bro I did all my sobs I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy,” his brother, Lil Gotit, added.
After receiving confirmation from Keed’s representatives, Complex and Rolling Stone were the first to disclose his death.
Despite being connected to YSL, the “Trapped on Cleveland 3” rapper was not included in the latest Atlanta indictment that saw Gunna, Young Thug, and 26 other YSL affiliates imprisoned on RICO charges.
Following the raid and arrests, Keed issued a passionate statement regarding his label, claiming that YSL was not a criminal enterprise, as the Fulton County District Attorney asserted in the 56-count indictment.
Popular tracks by Lil Keed include “Snake,” “She Know,” and “Wavy (Remix).” Throughout his successful albums, he has collaborated with Travis Scott, Young Thug, Chris Brown, Gunna, Zaytoven, and Lil Yachty, to name a few.
“Damn twin tear,” tweeted Offset of the famed rap duo Migos on his Instagram story.
“Keed you are the next sound of music exceeding hip hop and all genres,” Taylor Bennett commented on Instagram.
Keed’s GF, Quana Bandz, wrote a touching tribute to him on Instagram, saying, “I adore you, sweetie, and I’m not sure what I’d do without you. I can’t breathe well, sleep properly, or do anything. I don’t even want to speak to anyone. I can’t understand why you left the US, Keed.”
Keed is survived by his girlfriend Quana and their daughter Naychur. He was 24.
