Akshay Kumar might not participate in the Red Carpet at Cannes Film Festival according to his recent tweet

As per the recent tweet, it claims that Akshay Kumar may not walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. He offers his condolences to the Indian Delegation and expresses his desire to be present. Akshay’s absence appears to be related to his next film Prithviraj.

Prithviraj, based on the life and heroism of the daring and mighty King Prithviraj Chauhan, is Akshay Kumar’s next film for Yash Raj Films. In this visual extravaganza, he plays the famous warrior who fought valiantly to preserve India from the cruel invader Muhammad of Ghor.

As per the sources, it states that given the scope of the project and the authenticity that the filmmakers desired, it’s no wonder that the film required the creation of nearly 50,000 costumes, as well as the use of 500 different types of turbans during production!

On the other hand, in this year’s Cannes Film Festival, cinema celebrities will walk the ‘Red Carpet’ alongside Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur.

According to the ministry, the ‘Red Carpet’ event at the 75th Cannes Film Festival will be a grand event for the Indian public, with luminaries from the cine world across India set to walk as part of the Indian delegation on the opening day of Cannes Film Festival on May 17. Currently what we know is that Thakur will lead India’s delegation to Cannes. He stated that the goal is to reflect India’s rich flavor and diversity – culture, heritage, legacy, and developments – through cinema. The group was carefully selected from around the country to showcase various strengths and features of the country. This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and France.
