Graduated from Manipal University

Satya Nadella graduated from Hyderabad High School and went on to Manipal University to study electronics and communication engineering.

After graduating in 1988, he moved from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, to the US to obtain his Masters of Computer Science.

He also has an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Joined in 1992 with Microsoft

The year 1992 saw Nadella entering Microsoft. Satya Nadella worked at Sun Microsystems before joining Microsoft (now owned by Oracle Corporation).

He also had a crucial responsibility within the company’s Bing division throughout his long tenure with the company. And while Bing was never the crown jewel of Microsoft, Nadella helped it rise.

He has played a vital role in taking some of Microsoft’s most common innovations to the cloud in the form of Azure, such as database and Windows server and developer tools.

Nadella has helped Microsoft carry out Microsoft Office, including Office 365, the enterprise-focused cloud edition. Microsoft claims that one of the fastest-growing apps ever is Office 365.

Married His Childhood Classmate

In 1992, the same year he joined Microsoft, Satya Nadella married his schoolmate, Anupama. The two live in Bellevue, Washington, and have three children, sons and daughters.

Cricket lover

As the majority of Indians, Nadella is a huge cricket fan. He was part of the cricket team at his school. He said that playing cricket taught him about teamwork and leadership in an interview with Hyderabad’s Deccan Chronicle.

Test cricket is his favorite type of game, and he compares it to a Russian book since there are so many sub-plots in it.

At No. 4 on the overall ranking, the Microsoft CEO rates an annual salary of $84,308,755. This includes a starting salary of $918,917 and a cash bonus of $3,600,000, and benefits of $12,729.

HarperCollins Publishing will print the book, and it will be out in the year 2017.
