The scooter features a lightweight frame weighing around 18.1kg and supports riders up to 100kg.
It comes equipped with 10″ pneumatic tyres designed to handle uneven roads, speed breakers, and rough patches more comfortably. The Electric Scooter 6 Lite offers three riding modes: Pedestrian mode with a maximum speed of 6km/h, Standard mode capped at 15km/h, and Sport mode reaching up to 25km/h. Xiaomi claims a travel range of up to 25km on a full charge. In Standard mode, users can achieve the full 25km range, while in Sport mode, the range drops to around 20km.
The scooter is powered by a 300W-rated motor with up to 500W peak power, allowing it to climb slopes up to 15 percent. For braking, it uses a front drum brake along with rear E-ABS.
Up front, there is a 2.5W headlight that offers visibility up to 15 metres, while the rear tail light flashes during braking. The scooter carries an IPX4 rating for water resistance, and the battery is rated IPX6. It also includes a smart battery management system that protects against overcharging, over-discharging, overvoltage, overheating, short circuits, and overcurrent. A 216Wh (10Ah) ternary lithium battery powers the scooter, with a full charge taking around 8 hours.
Users can also connect the scooter to the Xiaomi Home app for basic controls and ride tracking. The app allows users to view the remaining range, check the battery level, view the selected riding mode, and lock the motor. It also provides journey logs, energy recovery settings, and tyre pressure maintenance reminders.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite is currently listed on Shopee in the Philippines for ₱18,999 (approx. $207.46 USD). As for global pricing and availability, Xiaomi has not officially announced details yet, although the product is already listed on Xiaomi’s global website.
