Volkswagen Taigun Facelift India Launch Date
As per what has been revealed via a new teaser shared on X by the brand itself, the Taigun facelift has been confirmed with its rear branding, along with the launch date of 9th April 2026. Comparing it with the recently launched Skoda Kushaq facelift in India, it is expected that the Taigun facelift will likely bring similar additions. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine may receive a new 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, replacing the previously offered 6-speed unit. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre variant is expected to continue with the 7-speed DSG gearbox, and it could also feature disc brakes on all four wheels.
Notably, the Skoda Kushaq 1.5-litre variant is now offered exclusively with an automatic transmission, and it remains to be seen whether Volkswagen will continue to offer a manual gearbox option for the Taigun or not.
While a few cosmetic changes can also be expected in the interior, for confirmed details we may have to wait just a few more days, as the launch date has now been announced.
Stay tuned for more updates!
