TVS Motor Launches NTORQ 150 in India with 149.7cc Engine, 0–60 km/h in 6.3 Seconds, ABS and Alexa Integration

TVS Motor today announced the launch of the TVS NTORQ 150, which it claims is India’s first hyper sport scooter. The new model features a 149.7cc race-tuned engine and is being introduced at a special introductory price of ₹1,19,000 ex-showroom, across India.

Specs and Features

The NTORQ 150 produces 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 104 km/h. This scooter features segment-first ABS and traction control for safety, along with ride modes: Street Mode with iGo Assist ISS and Race Mode with a Boost function.

Design highlights include MULTIPOINT® projector headlamps, signature ‘T’ tail lamps, aerodynamic winglets, a naked handlebar, a sporty muffler, and colored alloy wheels. The forward-leaning stance and arrowhead front design aim to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

The scooter also comes with a hi-resolution TFT cluster and TVS SmartXonnect™, which offers over 50 connected features. These features include Alexa and smartwatch integration, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle live tracking, last parked location, ride modes, OTA updates, and custom widgets. The 4-way navigation switch and integrated telematics enhance the connected experience.

For safety and convenience, the NTORQ 150 includes ABS, traction control, crash and theft alerts, hazard lamps, an emergency brake warning, follow-me headlamps, telescopic suspension, adjustable brake levers, a patented E-Z centre stand, and 22 liters of under-seat storage.

The scooter will be available in two variants. The standard NTORQ 150 will come in Stealth Silver, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue. The TFT cluster variant will be offered in Nitro Green, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue.
