Tesla cuts the price of their recently launched Model 3 Long Range RWD in China

Last month, Tesla introduced its Model 3 Long Range RWD in the Chinese market. At the time of launch, it was priced at 269,500 Yuan, and now, just a month later, the automaker has cut the price of this model in China.

Today, the Tesla website in China showed that the Model 3 Long Range RWD variant is priced at 259,500 Yuan in the country.

The company has cut the price by 10,000 Yuan ($1,400). It appears that Tesla is aiming for an increase in sales for this model.

The Model 3 Long Range RWD boasts an 830km range and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time in 5.2 seconds. The all-new interior features a streamlined design, soundproof glass windows, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, dual displays, studio sound effects, wireless phone charging, and a glass roof. It arrives with 682L storage space, exquisite technology, quiet cabin environment, and more. You can remotely access and control your vehicle with the Tesla mobile app. It comes with a 78.4kWh ternary-lithium battery pack.

In related news, Tesla has also recently unveiled the Model Y L-6 seater EV model in the Chinese market. The model arrives with feature upgrades over the standard Model Y.
