Skoda Octavia RS Receives a Welcoming Response in India: Allocated 100 Units Sells Out Within a Few Minutes
The bookings for the newly-unveiled Skoda Octavia RS vehicle recently began in India and within just a few minutes, all the allocated units for the country were sold out before even revealing its pricing details.

Skoda Octavia RS – Sells Out in India After its Bookings Commences
In the Indian market, the bookings for Skoda’s Octavia RS had commenced and it was available to interested customers for a token booking amount of INR 2.5 lakh. Soon after its bookings commenced, the 100 allocated units that were put up for bookings in the country were sold out in just 20 minutes, with an average of one booking for every 12 seconds. All this is before its official price reveal that has been scheduled for the 17th of October 2025. Also to add, its delivery units will start to get shipped from the 6th of November 2025 (imported from the Czech Republic).
Speaking about its specs, the Skoda Octavia RS will be made available in five different colors of Mamba Green, Blue, Red, Black, and White. Regarding its performance aspects, it is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 265 hp power and 370 Nm torque. A seven-speed DSG gearbox is also a part of the vehicle. In terms of acceleration, it can reach 0 kmph to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. Also, its top speed is claimed to be 250 kmph. Its design related aspects include the LED Matrix headlights with DRLs, sharper body lines, 18″ alloy wheels, 15mm lower ride height, performance-oriented exhaust system, sporty seats, 13″ touchscreen infotainment system, and many more.
