At the Munich motor show, Renault officially unveiled its new sixth-generation Clio. Renault Clio has been a big-volume seller for the automaker, but with growing competition, this model faced challenges in the market.
The new sixth-generation Renault Clio arrives with a significant design update. The update is notable at the front, where an angular nose and new grille are flanked by daytime-running lights that are shaped like bisected diamonds. It features sculpted rear lights and a sporty look.

New Clio is said to redefine the standards of its segment by combining the compact dimensions of a B-segment car with the performance and equipment levels of a C-segment vehicle.
New Renault Clio: Features
It adopts a new full hybrid E-Tech 160hp powertrain and comes with a combined fuel consumption of just 3.9 litres/100 km. The wheelbase is increased to 2.59m (extended 8 mm). The New Clio design is larger than the previous generation, rising from 4.05m to 4.12m (an additional 67mm) in length, from 1.73m to 1.77m (an additional 39mm) in width, and height remains reasonable at 1.45m (an additional 11 mm). It comes with 18-inch alloys.
New Renault Clio comes with elegantly concealed rear door handles, highly angled rear windscreen, strong boot line, and four tail-lights. Seven body colors include- Absolute red, Absolute green, Glacier White, Ceramic grey, Shadow grey, Diamond Black, and Iron Blue.
The dashboard is fitted with a double 10.1-inch V-shaped screen. It also integrates the Multi-Sense button to choose between driving modes. The cabin includes two USB-C sockets at the front, an induction charger, and a 12 V socket in the back. The boot offers a capacity of up to 391 litres.
The entry-level new Renault Clio comes with a 1.2 litre 3-cylinder TCe engine delivering 115hp, and a 120 hp 3-cylinder dual Eco-G version will also be added to the lineup later. The OpenR Link with Google’s built-in multimedia system is also present. Other features- Harman Kardon audio system, ADAS, 360 degree camera, LED ambient lighting, height adjustable driver seat, air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking brake, six speakers, automatic wipers, and more.
The new Renault Clio will be launched next year, though the launch timeline is not specified.
