As earlier announced, Mahindra yesterday officially launched its all-new Mahindra XUV 7XO in the Indian market. This is basically the facelifted version of the XUV 700 in India, with updated design and revised elements.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Features
The new XUV 7XO features a full-width grille with jewel-like talon accents, Bi-LED projector headlamps with DRLs, diamond-inspired Clear Lens LED taillamps, R19-diamond cut alloy wheels, redesigned bumper, revised front grille, and super-premium high-gloss piano black finish.
On the inside, it features coast-to-coast 31.24cm triple HD screens, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with India’s first Dolby Vision & Atmos, a new two-spoke steering wheel, a redesigned centre console that replaces HVAC controls with a touch-panel unit, wireless charging, Alexa built-in with ChatGPT, and dual-zone climate control. You will also get to see a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, high-density seat foam with plush padding, and a powered Bass mode for the front passenger seat.
Coming to the safety, the new XUV 7XO comes with 75 standard safety features. It boasts a 540-degree camera with digital video recording, ADAS Level 2 with Dynamic Visualisation, Approach unlock & Walk Away lock, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, DAVINCI suspension system, frameless electrochromic IRVM, memory ORVMs with reverse tilt, and 7 airbags.
There are two engine options: 2L mStallion TGDi gasoline engine (200ps, 380Nm torque) and 2.2L mHawk turbo-diesel engine (up to 185ps, up to 450Nm torque). The gearbox comprises a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic for both engines. The diesel engine also gets an option of an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system on higher trims.

The delivery for AX7, AX7T, AX7L (starting with pre-booked customers) will start from 14th January, 2026, while for the AX, AX3, and AX5 variants the delivery will start from April 2026. Meanwhile, bookings for the Mahindra XUV 7XO will open on January 14, 2026.
