Mahindra unveils four new concept SUVs and NU_UX next-generation driving experience designed for future SUVs at Global Vision 2027
Yesterday, Mahindra unveiled Global Vision 2027, in which the company showcased four new concept SUVs based on the modular, multi-energy NU_IQ platform and also introduced its next-generation driving experience- NU_UX, designed for future SUVs.
Mahindra’s four new concept SUVs are based on the NU_IQ platform
The NU_IQ platform will underpin a new range of disruptive SUVs. It is said to be a strategic blueprint for the future of Mahindra SUVs globally. This platform comes with a modular, multi-energy architecture and is said to free customers from compromises and put truly desirable, premium core SUVs squarely in the mainstream.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, Chief Executive Officer – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Executive Director, Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd., said, “NU_IQ blends innovation, global design, and advanced technology to disrupt the white spaces in the automotive industry in India and internationally across right-and left-hand-drive markets. The four concepts we are showcasing here offer a bold preview of what’s to come. They usher in a new no-compromise era of mobility and give freedom a new meaning.”
Based on this platform, four new concept SUVs are introduced- the Vision.S, Vision.T, Vision.SXT and Vision.X. From the Born Iconic spirit of Vision.T and Vision.SXT, to the Sporty Solidity of Vision.S, and the Sculptural Athleticism of Vision. X, each model is revealed to be crafted with a clear, unique personality. These concepts are developed collaboratively by Mahindra India Design Studio in Mumbai and Mahindra Advanced Design Europe in Banbury, UK. It is revealed that these concept models will go into production starting in 2027.
Apart from these concept SUVs, the company has also introduced its next-generation driving experience, NU_UX, designed for future SUVs.

Mahindra’s NU_UX features intelligent controls and immersive displays that blend cutting-edge technology, aiming to enhance user interaction. The above teaser video reveals that NU_UX includes features like climate control, navigation, and entertainment features integrated into a user-friendly interface. This interface is said to be designed for future SUVs, and the company is expected to reveal more details later.
