OnePlus – After-Sales Expansion in India (Service Network to Grow by 50% by April 2026)

OnePlus, in its latest announcement, has confirmed that it aims to increase its service centres from around 400 to 600+ by April 2026 in India. This expansion will cover more than 500 cities, mainly focusing on tier 2 and tier 3 markets. For this, the company will be using OPPO’s already established service network in India. With these additional service centres, users will likely see reduced travel and wait time.

Moving forward, OnePlus will focus more on a direct-to-consumer model. This means the brand will be reducing its offline presence and will likely prioritise online sales via Amazon, Flipkart, and its official website. Those who don’t know, when OnePlus first entered India in 2014, it was initially sold exclusively via Amazon India. So it looks like the company might be going back to its roots. However, whether this change will benefit consumers in terms of pricing or offers is something that remains to be seen.

OnePlus has also confirmed that there will be no change in existing warranties, user commitments and software updates. Thus shutting down the rumours that OnePlus may not give updates to the already available smartphones.

In other news, OnePlus is also set to launch the Nord 6 smartphone in India on April 7th 2026. Apart from this, as per recent rumours, two more smartphones are also in works. These are Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite, which, as per a tipster, could launch in May. However, the company has not officially confirmed anything regarding these devices yet.

Stay tuned for more such updates.

But a new tip reveals that Samsung has reduced the pricing of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Here is more to it.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Gets a Price Cut

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB variant is selling on Amazon India for ₹1,08,999, and this pricing has been the same for the past couple of months. However, a tipster named Abhishek Yadav now reveals that Samsung has reduced the pricing of the Galaxy S25 Ultra across its memory variants. For instance, as per him, the 256GB option gets a ₹10,000 price cut, while the 512GB gets ₹2,000, and the 1TB gets ₹4,000.

After this, we checked the pricing of the other variants as well, according to which the 512GB is priced at ₹1,41,999 on Amazon India, and the 1TB is priced at ₹1,65,999 on Flipkart, with only a single unit left. So, if we compare the pricing, the 512GB and 1TB variants are both listed at their launch price and have not seen any price drop. So, it could be that this price drop has been announced for the offline market and may soon be passed on to online platforms as well.

Samsung, however, hasn’t shared any details regarding this price drop. So, it is advised to take this information with a pinch of salt, and if Samsung does announce a price drop, we will share the news in a new article.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Today, the same tipster has shared that multiple brands are set to hike prices from tomorrow due to rising component costs.

According to the tipster, Samsung Tablet prices will increase from tomorrow, while the OnePlus 15R and several Realme devices are also expected to receive a price hike. Currently, the OnePlus 15R is available at a starting price of Rs 47,999 in the country. It is revealed that industry-wide adjustments are happening, and there are chances that more brands follow the same pattern.

Indian consumers are advised that if they are planning to buy any smartphone or tablet in the next 2-3 months, then they should buy it today, as delaying the purchase might cost them Rs 1,000- Rs 3,000+, depending on the model.

As previously revealed, the Vivo (Vivo T4 series models) and iQOO (iQOO Z10 series models) mid-range devices could receive a price hike of up to Rs 2500.

Apple Pay arriving in India?

It is reported that, according to people aware of the matter, the company is in talks with ICICI Bank Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd. and Axis Bank Ltd., as it aims to introduce its payment service in India around the middle of 2026. Though the timeline is still peculiar.

Apart from this, Apple is also said to be discussing the plan with global card networks, Mastercard Inc. and Visa Inc. Apple Pay in India is expected to support India’s state-backed Unified Payments Interface (UPI), alongside card payments.

If you remember, last year, NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) rolled out biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or facial recognition, for UPI transactions. And we all are aware that Apple Pay relies on Face ID or Touch ID to approve payments in-person via tap-to-pay, on websites and through apps.

This new rule by NPCI seems to be in favour of Apple’s plan to introduce Apple Pay in India. The Indian market has been a key player for Apple in recent years, with increasing sales and expansion of its retail presence in the country.

And now with the launch of Apple’s payment service, the company is expected to witness another boost in the country.

Now, Realme could be planning a similar move, if a new tip from Abhishek Yadav is to be believed.

Here is more to it.

Realme 15 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G Series – Price Hike

Tipster Abhishek Yadav, in a post on X, shared an image suggesting a price hike across Realme 15 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G Series smartphones in India. According to the image, the Realme 15 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G are set to get a ₹3,000 price hike, while the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G could see a price hike of ₹4,000 across all memory variants. The poster appears to be meant for offline retail stores and is expected to reach online platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon as well. The date mentioned on the page for the revised pricing to take effect is February 11th, 2026.

This aligns with what Realme’s Product Marketing Head, Francis Wong, had shared back in November last year, when he said that smartphone prices would go up in 2026 due to rising costs of upstream memory components.

For now, Realme has not commented on the reported price hike. Whether the revised pricing will remain limited to offline stores or also apply to online platforms is still unclear.

Below is the table showing the price rise:

PayPal will power surfacing merchant inventory, branded checkout, guest checkout, and credit card payments, starting with Copilot.com. Merchant’s product catalogs will seamlessly become purchasable, leveraging PayPal’s store sync, a capability of PayPal’s recently launched agentic commerce services, which are designed to allow merchants to attract customers and future-proof their business in the new era of AI-powered commerce.

“Collaborating with Microsoft marks another step forward in our strategy to support merchants and consumers in AI-powered shopping experiences. By integrating PayPal’s agentic commerce services with Copilot’s intelligent shopping platform, we are enabling seamless, reliable transactions for both merchants and consumers,” said Michelle Gill, GM of Small Business and Financial Services, PayPal. “Together, we’re unlocking more meaningful, trusted connections across the commerce ecosystem and shaping the future of intelligent shopping.”

A user can now browse curated, shoppable results- completing their purchase with PayPal. It will unlock purchasing across Copilot.com, with plans to extend to more devices and channels where Copilot is available. There will be multiple funding options, including PayPal Wallet. Consumers and merchants benefit from PayPal’s seller and buyer protections on eligible transactions in Copilot Checkout.

The first retailer to implement this PayPal and Copilot integration is Ashley Global Retail, which allows people to browse and purchase furniture by simply talking with Copilot.

Here are the details

Google Pixel Upgrade Program

This program will facilitate Pixel ownership via no-cost monthly EMIs starting at Rs 3,333 per month, along with the option to upgrade to the next new Pixel phone with an assured buyback of your existing Pixel.

When you buy an eligible Pixel 10 series phone using Google’s participating partners, Bajaj Finance or HDFC Bank Credit Cards, enroll in a 24-month No-Cost EMI plan, which starts as low as Rs 3,333/month. After completing 9 monthly payments and before paying the 15th EMI on your current loan, you become eligible to upgrade to a new Pixel.

Now, when you are ready, you can trade in your current Pixel through Cashify. Your bank account will be credited with an amount equal to your remaining balance if your phone powers on and is free of unauthorised repairs. From there, simply start a new 24-month plan for your new Pixel phone.

Benefits of this program:

Receive an exchange bonus of up to Rs 7,000 when you enroll and trade in your old device

Your new Pixel comes with trial subscriptions to some of the most popular Google services. (Depending on the model, this includes up to a year of Google AI Pro, six months of Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium).
